PIV Mechanical Variable Speed Drives 0.37 to 3.7 Kw Speed variation ratio 5:1

The PIV Machanical Variable Speed Drive series are a box unit and belt-type stepless speed changer. These model is an intermediate belt speed change drive unit that can be mounted between machine or motor and machine. By selecting the input speed, the optimum machine speed range can be achieved. This Stepless Speed changer is ready to fit module.

Note :

• Change the speed in running condition only.
• Input Speed - Not Exceeding 1500 RPM

How to calculate Output speed range ?

Input Speed x 2.2 = Max. Speed
Input Speed / 2.2 = Min. Speed

For example - If input speed is 100 RPM
Output Speed range will be -

Max. Speed = 100 x 2.2 = 220 RPM
Min Speed = 100 / 2.2 = 45 RPM
Hence, the stepless speed range is 220 to 45 RPM.

Maximum input torque = 10 Nm

Power rating 2.2 to 3.7 Kw

Maximum input speed - not to exceed 1500 RPM
